A multidisciplinary performer, creative and budding producer with roots in spoken word, theatre, and music. Her artistic journey began at seventeen as a competitive spoken word poet, having won top awards in many competitions. Driven by her passion for live performance, she later earned her BFA in Acting from Brooklyn College’s Performing Arts program in 2017. After graduating, she became deeply involved in New York’s independent theatre scene, collaborating on Off-Broadway and experimental productions. In 2022, she expanded her creative focus into music, writing and producing original songs under the pseudonym YhlwBn paired with visuals that reflect her distinctive voice and storytelling background. An artist by every definition of the word, Tanya Maria Antionette continues to create pieces that reflects the beauty of being human.
